Reservation Policy
Multiple day reservations may be required
for certain holidays and during high season. Reservations
are strongly encouraged to assure the choice of rooms. Payment
in full is required at the time of the reservation on all
stays of four nights or less. On reservations of five or
more nights, a four night minimum deposit is required at
the time of the reservation. The balance is due upon arrival.
We welcome American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
Cancellation Policy
Because of our small size, cancellations
affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation leaves
little chance of filling the reserved space. For this reason,
the Inn maintains a strict cancellation policy.
Each guest is responsibile for the full length
of his/her reservation. Reservations cancelled at least
21 days prior to scheduled arrival will be refunded
in full less 10% handling fee. If cancellations are made
less than 21 days prior to arrival, no refund is possible,
regardless of the reason for non-arrival or eary departure,
unless the room (s) can be re-rented. However, guests are
welcome to send someone else in their place.
Check-in, Check-out Times
Check-in time is 2 p.m. Guests are welcome
to arrive earlier, however, the rooms may be unavailable
before 2 p.m. Please call ahead for arrivals later than
6 p.m. Check-out time is promptly at 11 a.m. If guests wish
to stay on the island for the remainder of the day, luggage
may be stored at the Inn.
Canine Companions
A few guestrooms are reserved for those guests
traveling with canine companions. Canine amenities include
dog beds and feeding dishes. There is a surcharge of $25 per night
per canine.
Parking
Private parking is limited to guests staying
at the Inn.
Smoking Policy
The Shiverick Inn is a smoke-free establishment.
Smoking is only permitted on outside terraces and in the
garden.
Specialty Trays
To further enhance your intimate
celebration, chocolates and specialty trays are available
starting at $75.
